Gardening in Winter

In case you didn't know, I have some pretty great friends. Before Christmas, one on my Airman sent me a gift as thank you for helping her land my old job. It's strange, I never think about if people really know me, or if they even pay attention to what I say. I'm generally making sure I keep talking to avoid any and all awkward silences. This Airman, listened for sure. She knew how down I get in the winter with our my garden and sent me an Aerogarden. It has been so fun watching as things grow and has helped with my Winter blues.

It recently had quite the growth spurt. I am too excited to harvest, as ALL of these varieties I have not tried before. I think I am the most excited to try deer tongue lettuce.
